Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Agro Nursery, we strive to provide the healthiest plants to our customers across India. Because we deal with live, perishable items, please read our policy regarding cancellations and refunds carefully before placing your order.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipment: You can cancel your order within 10 hours of placement for a full refund. Once the plant has been picked from the nursery and started the specialized packing process, cancellations may not be possible.
  • After Shipment: Once an order has been dispatched from our nursery, it cannot be cancelled. This is because live plants cannot survive a two-way journey (to the customer and back to the nursery) without proper care.

2. Returns Policy

  • Live Plants: Due to the perishable nature of plants, we do not accept returns on live plant products. Returning a plant through a courier often results in the death of the plant due to lack of light and water.
  • Non-Plant Items: For gardening tools, pots, or fertilizers (if applicable), we accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the items are unused and in their original packaging.

3. Damaged or Wrong Products

We take extreme care in our packaging (using PVC pipes and secure boxes). However, if your order arrives in an unacceptable condition, we will make it right.

  • Eligibility: You must report any damage within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Proof Required: To claim a refund or replacement, you must provide a clear unboxing video and photos showing the damage to the plant or the wrong item received.
  • What is Covered: Severe damage such as a broken main stem, a completely dried-out plant (Dead on Arrival), or receiving the wrong variety (e.g., you ordered a Mango and received a Guava).
  • What is NOT Covered: Minor transit stress, such as 2-3 yellow leaves, minor leaf shedding, or slight soil spillage. These are natural occurrences during shipping, and the plant will recover with proper care.

4. Refund Process

  • If a refund is approved due to damage or successful cancellation, it will be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • The refund will be credited back to the original payment method (Bank Account, UPI, or Credit/Debit Card) used during the purchase.
  • For partial damage, we may offer a partial refund or a discount coupon for your next purchase at our discretion.

5. Replacement Policy

In cases of severe damage (Dead on Arrival), we may offer a one-time free replacement of the same plant variety instead of a refund, depending on stock availability.

6. Customer Responsibility

  • Incorrect Address: We are not responsible for plant death caused by delivery delays due to an incorrect address or phone number provided by the customer.
  • Failed Delivery: If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available to receive the plant, causing it to stay in the box longer and eventually die, a refund will not be issued.
